Glickman inducted into hall of fame

Rick Glickman of Skokie, president of Dream Kitchens, 3437 W. Dempster St., has been inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. Glickman was nominated by Bill Moller, host of CLTV's "Your Money" after meeting Glickman and featuring him on his television show last year. Inductees are selected by a judge's panel using the following criteria: founding a successful business, managing growth, employment generation, innovation, profitability, customer and employee relations and contributions to the industry, community and society.

The Hall of Fame was founded in 1984 by the UIC College of Business Administration's Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. It includes business owners who have demonstrated talent by founding and/or growing a business in the Chicagoland area. Sponsors for the award include Grant Thorton LLP, LaSalle Bank, Lord, Bissell and Brook, the University of Illinois Chicago and Levy Venture Management.

Dream Kitchens is celebrating it tenth business anniversary.
