Rick Glickman, owner of Dream Kitchens, Inc., in Skokie was inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame at an awards dinner on March 7.
Inductees were selected by a judge's panel on several of the following criteria: founding a successful business, managing growth, employment generation, innovation, profitability, customer and employee relations and contributions to the industry, community and society.
The hall of fame was founded in 1984 by the UIC College of Business Administration's Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. It includes Chicago area business owners who have demonstrated talent by founding and/or growing a business in the Chicago area. Sponsors for the event included Grant Thorton LLP, LaSalle Bank, Lord Bissell & Brook, the University of Illinois at Chicago and Levy Venture Management.
