Warm and Cozy Kitchen in Highland Park, IL

Our client chose a warm Alder stain to give this kitchen it’s cozy and welcoming feel. The countertops are a mix of Quartz and Walnut wood tops, to keep the warm feel going. The homeowner creates their own pottery, so the open shelves on the end of the island are a great place to show off their work! The “all refrigerator” was a must for storing fresh ingredients for the clients’ health conscious recipes, while a separate island sink is a great addition for two cooks to work together. The island’s freezer drawers compliment the “all refrigerator” on the back wall. The beverage area was another must for the clients’ daily routine. The glass doors in the butler’s pantry help the narrow space to feel wider as you pass through.
